2021 Winter ITB Prep Program

We are currently coming off a tremendous 2020 ITB Program that saw us run a summer and fall league as well as an outdoor and indoor Prep program.  Just over 100 players attended one of these programs and it was a huge success in in developing beginner baseball players.

For the second year in a row we will be running a ITB Feb/Mar prep program to help develop the skills needed to have success in the league.  While there will be game play each week, the prep program will focus on skill development and learning rules/strategies.  The ratio will look like this:

50 minutes:

• throwing mechanics
• catching and fielding the ball
• base running
• team infield play
• hitting development

40 Minutes:

Game play (goal is to get 2 innings each week)

*To limit the traffic in the facility during this program, we would prefer a drop off only, but will limit attendance to one parent and no siblings.  We will run the program on Instagram live (@varsityshoptc) so you can watch.  We appreciate your cooperation with this policy.
